Anal Cancer Symptoms: First felt a bump while showering and followed it until it formed what I thought was a hemorrhoid. At that time I was also due for my colonoscopy so I had it checked out immediately and game on!
Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: I honestly cannot say I had colorectal surgery - I had what I thought was a very small hemorrhoid removed and poof instead it was 3 cm cancerous tumor. Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: 5-FU Two rounds done in the hospital W-M 24 hour IV drip into my lovely port I named Randy. Blistering Lips - Acupuncture helped that tremendously - I had almost no blistering the second round of chemo.
